Unfortunately, the number of people suffering from cancer is constantly increasing. So it's crucial to know the factors that can trigger the growth of cancer cells. 8 Products In Your Home That Cause Cancer

Artificial sweeteners
Artificial sweeteners are contained in many products, and one of the most common is aspartame. This product is usually added to Light drinks (sodas and juices), dairy products, energy drinks, protein drinks and those that are artificially flavored.

Instead of using artificial sweeteners, try a natural alternative such as maple syrup, honey, stevia, organic cane sugar or dates.

Non-stick cooking utensils
This type of cookware is coated with a synthetic polytetrafluoroethylene coating, otherwise known as Teflon, a plastic polymer that will actually release toxins when heated to 250 ° C or higher.

One study found that heating Teflon-coated cooking utensils for only two to five minutes on a conventional cooker can cause micron ruptures in the coating and the emission of toxic particles and gases. Breathing these particles, there is a risk of having what is called the "Teflon flu".

Plastic boxes
You've probably noticed more and more "BPA-free" labels on plastic bottles and boxes, as people are becoming more aware that using plastic containers can be detrimental to your health. Indeed, they contain Bisphenol A (BPA) which can increase the risk of cancer.

A simple solution is to use bottles and glass containers, which is not only good for health, but also for the environment.

Talc
Used both for babies and for oneself, talc is a flagship product for personal hygiene. However, the latter is not without risks because according to a study published in the newspaper The Lancelet, it would be at the origin of certain ovarian cancers. In fact, talc particles have been found in tumors. In addition, a study published in the journal Cancer Prevention Research has shown that the use of talc increases the risk of developing ovarian cancer by 20 to 30%.

Proponents of talc can however replace it with cornstarch or baking soda.

Cleaners
Although most of these products carry warnings that clearly indicate they are toxic or corrosive, people continue to use them.

Some of the common chemicals found in household cleaners include alkylphenols and phthalates that cause reproductive problems and endocrine disruption.

Shampoos
Among the most used products, there are chemical hair products, especially shampoos and conditioners. These contain chemicals such as sodium lauryl sulphate, parabens, and synthetic colors.

Some common ingredients in synthetic fragrances are benzene derivatives, aldehydes, phthalates and many other toxins associated with cancer, birth defects, nervous system disorders following prenatal exposure and allergies.

Antibacterial soap
Whether it's dishwashing liquid, hand soap or body wash, traditional soaps often contain a wide range of chemicals. Antibacterial soaps regularly contain triclosan, a potential carcinogen, as well as many other ingredients often found in conventional soaps.

Organic soap is an alternative that is easily accessible.

Deodorant
Deodorants are commonly used to scent and remove bad smells. However, they contain harmful chemicals including formaldehyde, a carcinogen according to the Nationa Toxicology Program. Indeed, once vaporized they give off vapors that may increase the risk of respiratory problems or cancer.

For a more natural alternative, make yourself your deodorant using essential oils.
